No. 31 Women's Tennis shuts out Fresno State, 7-0

Longhorns split weekend road trip, host Rice on March 13.
BURLINGAME, Calif. – No. 31 Texas (5-4) won all nine singles and doubles contests in a 7-0 victory over Fresno State Sunday afternoon at Broadway Tennis Center.
Texas swept the three doubles matches with sophomore Daniella Roldan and freshman Petra Granic winning by a 7-5 count over Ndindi Ndunda and Emma Wilson at first doubles. Freshman Anna Turati and senior Neda Koprcina posted a 6-0 win over Olivia Noble and Galina Bykova at second doubles, while sophomores Chelsea Crovetti and Katie Poluta notched a 6-1 win over Katerina Stloukalova and Abbey Watanabe at third doubles.
Freshman Bianca Turati, ranked 39th in the latest ITA singles rankings, dispatched Stloukalova by a 6-1, 6-4 count at first singles. Koprcina dealt Wilson a 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7) defeat at second singles, while Granic defeated Bykova by a 6-4, 7-5 margin at third singles.
Anna Turati made short work of Fresno State's Juliane Triebe at fourth singles, where she won by a 6-2, 6-0 count. Poluta finished off Ndunda 6-2, 6-0 at fifth singles, and junior Dani Wagland posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Georgia Lawson at sixth singles.
Texas resumes dual-match play on March 13 when it hosts Rice at the Whitaker Tennis Courts.

The Longhorns did an outstanding job of bouncing back from yesterday's ferocious match. Not only were our ladies focused and determined, but they played very good tennis. There is no question that we are turning into a very formidable team.
