• ALLEN CLAIMS PAIR OF BIG 12 HONORS: Freshman F Jarrett Allen earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Third Team and the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team in the official All-Big 12 awards announced Sunday. He leads the team and ranks third in the Big 12 in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and also leads the squad and ranks fourth in the conference in blocks (48). Allen has recorded 12 double-doubles this year (eight in Big 12 play) and averaged 16.2 ppg and 9.8 rpg in Big 12 Conference play.
• CLEARE ON A ROLL: Senior F Shaquille Cleare has played the best and most efficient basketball of his career over the last two games entering the postseason.
