About Hook 'Em
Hook 'Em is The Unversity of Texas' number one fan! He is known for his incredible dance skills, his high energy persona, and his long horns. Hook 'Em attends nearly all Texas Athletics home events including Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball, and Softball games. He also travels to all away football games including the annual Oklahoma game in the Cotton Bowl. In addition, Hook 'Em makes special appearances outside the state of Texas including New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Steamboat Springs, Nashville, Boston, San Diego, Chicago and Atlanta within the past few years.
This past year, Hook 'Em was once again selected to compete at the UCA Mascot National Championships in Orlando, Florida and finished fifth in the nation.
As a mascot located in the Live Music Capital of the World, Hook 'Em is a big fan of music. Recently, he joined Major Lazer on stage at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and performed 'The Harlem Shake' on-stage with Baauer. He has also attended the 2015 Country Music Awards show and was featured in Brad Paisley's 'Country Nation' music video.
