Most important thing you learned during your time with Texas WBB: It's the little things that we do consistently every day that matter. As a student manager, we always paid attention to detail. No one notices when a jersey is steamed to perfection, but they do notice when there are wrinkles.
Favorite motto/quote: You can't be perfect all the time, but you can give perfect effort every day.
Professional goals: To be among the few women who own a construction business in Dallas.
Where you hope to be in five years: I hope to be in a position where I can promote other powerful women in business.
Favorite memory of being a manager: I made a pretty big mistake on a mail out one day. Expecting to be ridiculed for it, I was completely surprised when (in front of our entire staff) Coach Aston assured me that it was "okay" and that she would always have my back. I spent years sending mail to the recruiting class that included Ariel Atkins and Brooke McCarty. Once they arrived on campus and got to work, I couldn't help but feel proud that I was a (albeit small) part of bringing them to the 40 Acres. Other than that, I'd say getting to be a part of the program from the day Coach Aston and company arrived on campus makes me very proud! Can't wait to watch this program continue to reach new milestones!
