A look at the Cardinal – Stanford is the two-time defending NCAA champions and has handled its first two opponents in Utah (191-101) and Washington State (169-86). The Cardinal are boasting their own dual meet winning streak of 25 wins. The last time Texas and Stanford met up was two years ago in Palo Alto with the Cardinal earning a 161-137 win.
A look at the Golden Bears – California is 2-0 on the dual meet season with wins over Utah and Washington State, including a first-place finish in the Chick-fil-A Invite in Fresno, Calif. In their last time out at Washington State, the Bears won 13 of 14 events.
Streak Rolls On – With the win over Texas A&M, the Horns have won 16-straight dual meets dating back to the 2016-17 season.
Texas Sweeps Big 12 Awards – Texas took home both the Big 12 Swimmer and Diver of the Week on Oct. 31 after their top-20 wins over Indiana and Florida. It's the third honor of her career for Gibson and second for Rule.
