Volleyball’s Adams, McCage compete in CEV Cup semifinals

Former Longhorns Rachael Adams and Molly McCage led their respective professional teams on Tuesday.
AUSTIN, Texas – Longhorn All-Americans Rachael Adams (2008-11) and Molly McCage (2012-15) led their teams in the semifinals Confederation Europeenne de Volleyball Cup on Tuesday.
Adams led Eczacibasi Vitra with 10 kills and six blocks for 10 points to a 3-0 victory over SSC Palmberg. They will return home to take on the same team next Tuesday, March 20.
McCage led Allianz MTV Stuttgart with 8 kills and one block for 11 points in a 3-2 loss to Minchanka. They will hit the road to play the same team next Tuesday, March 20.
The winners of the semifinal matches will continue to play in the finals on Tuesday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 10.
