Football honors Tommy Nobis in Texas Bowl
Lynn Nobis, the widow for Longhorn Legend Tommy Nobis, was in Austin for a visit on Monday and stopped by the Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Complex to visit with Tom Herman and senior linebacker Breckyn Hager. A member of the College Football Hall of Fame, Longhorn Hall of Honor and longtime NFL great with the Atlanta Falcons, Tommy Nobis, passed on December 13th. Herman and Hager reached out to Lynn seeking her permission to honor Tommy with Hager wearing Nobis' retired number 60 jersey in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl. He did that in Texas' 33-16 victory over Missouri and on Monday, Hager presented Lynn with a game jersey.
