No. 12 Men's Tennis sweeps Tulsa, 7-0

The Longhorns claimed the doubles point and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 12 Texas (12-3) won two of three doubles matches and all six singles contests to earn a 7-0 sweep over Tulsa (10-14) Sunday afternoon at Texas Tennis Center.
Junior Colin Markes and All-America sophomore Yuya Ito downed the pairing of Corker/Pritchard in the match at third doubles, 6-0. After Tulsa took the match at No. 1 doubles, sophomore Christian Sigsgaard and junior Adrian Ortiz claimed the doubles point for the Longhorns with a 6-3 victory over Baptista/Kilani on court two.
Ortiz quickly defeated his Tulsa counterpart Boriss Kamdem at sixth singles, 6-0, 6-1, while the 70th-ranked Harrison Scott put the Longhorns up 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Jarod Hing at third singles.
The 110th-ranked Sigsgaard sealed the win for Texas after downing the 81st-ranked Joshua Goodger in straight sets at second singles. The 60th-ranked Ito followed with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Tulsa's 116th-ranked Kilani at first singles.
Leonardo Telles closed out a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Lucca Baptista at fourth singles. His classmate Rodrigo Banzer finished off the match with his 6-2, 7-6 (5) win over Mitchell Pritchard at fifth singles.
The Longhorns will be back at Texas Tennis Center to face No. 32 Tulane this Thursday (March 29). First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
