Format: There are four teams racing who are currently ranked in the CRCA/USRowing Coaches Poll: #3 Texas, #7 Iowa, #9 Virginia and #18 Oklahoma and another (Oregon State) receiving votes. Session 1 groupings were done based on the poll and then conference alignment.
The top two teams (NCAA events only) from each group will progress to "A" finals for Session 2. The next two teams advance to "B" finals. The NCAA scoring system will be used.
The second fours and novice/3V eights will have a different progression. The winner of each heat plus the next two fastest times will progress to the "A" finals, and the others will move on to the "B" finals.
