Longhorn Network captures three College Sports Media Awards

Network claims wins in Outstanding Feature, Program Series and Tease/Open/Promo categories.
ATLANTA – University of Texas media partner Longhorn Network recently claimed three honors at the annual Sports Video Group (SVG)/National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) College Sports Media Awards. LHN took home wins in the Outstanding Feature, Program Series and Tease/Open/Promo categories at this year's SVG College Summit, held on May 31 at the Omni Hotel in Atlanta.
"Orphan No More," a feature produced by Nick Hetherington highlighting Big 12 Conference Men's Diver of the Year and UT All-American Jordan Windle's relationship with his father, won in the Outstanding Feature category. This marked the sixth time in the last seven years that LHN has won for Outstanding Feature.
"Texas GameDay" took home the CSMA in the Program Series category, marking the fourth straight year that Longhorn Network had won for "Texas GameDay" in the category. LHN's "Texas GameDay" marketing campaign also won in the Tease/Open/Promo category.
Over the past decade, the College Sports Media Awards have recognized the best in college sports video production. Since LHN's launch in 2011, the network has won 17 of a possible 32 CSMAs – more than any other network.
