-Texas will face Stanford for the second time this week for part two of a home-and-home series. The Longhorns fell to the Cardinal in Palo Alto, 3-0.
-Freshman Brionne Butler led Texas with 11 kills on 22 swings with only four errors and a team-high three blocks, sophomore Ashley Shook posted 33 assists, 7 digs, and 4 kills (.333), junior Claire Hahn finished with seven digs and two aces, and junior Micaya White had 9 kills (.292) and 7 digs.
-The Longhorns are 5-0 when out-blocking their opponents and 0-2 when losing the blocking battle. Wisconsin had a 9-7 blocking advantage and Stanford finished with a 10-5 advantage.
