Texas heads to A&M for first road meet of the season

- Chris Staka was named the Big 12 Swimmer of the Week. Staka opened his junior season with an impressive four first place finishes in the four races he competed in. His 47.30 in the back and 47.22 in the fly are the fourth fastest times in the nation. Additionally, he helped the Longhorns to a pair of relay titles, swimming the first leg in the 200 relay and the third leg in the 400 free relay.
- Jordan Windle was instrumental in the Longhorns' victory over No. 17 Kentucky, winning both of his diving events, earning the Big 12 Diver of the Week. The junior posted a 427.88 score in the 3-meter dive and a 368.48 in the 1-meter for his first titles of the season.
- In the first meeting of the season, Texas took down No. 17 Kentucky, 179-109.
- Maxime Rooney (1:36.19) and Austin Katz (1:38.14) went 1-2 in the 200 freestyle
- Texas went 1-3 in the 1000 freestyle with Jake Foster in first, followed by Chris Yeager and Jack Collins.
