Latin rock veterans Vallejo opens Longhorn City Limits pregame.
Black Pumas, fresh off their Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, headline a special Longhorn City Limits postgame concert presented by ATX Web Designs at Texas Football's final home game vs. Texas Tech on Friday, Nov. 29.
LCL returns to the LBJ Lawn, located on the northeast corner of DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, with FREE pregame and postgame activities. All concerts are FREE and open to the public.
The trajectory of Austin-based psychedelic soul band Black Pumas has been on the rise this past year. Touring behind their self-titled debut album, Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada have sold out venues across the world as well as taped an Austin City Limits episode -- their first -- this past August. Their first two singles, "Black Moon Rising" and "Fire," catapulted the band to three sold out shows at the Mohawk last month. The band's current single, "Colors," is rapidly climbing the charts at radio.
Rounding out the Nov. 29 lineup is Austin Latin rock veterans Vallejo. Comprised of brothers A.J. Vallejo, Alejandro Vallejo and Omar Vallejo, as well as Bruce Castleberry and Alex Geismar, the group has been a staple in the Texas music scene since their self-titled 1997 debut and 1998 release "Beautiful Life." After rising to popularity out of Austin after earning the in-demand weekend slot at iconic venue Steamboat, the band has released 11 albums and earned numerous awards over their 22+ year career.

8:30 a.m.: Deep Eddy Lounge at Longhorn City Limits opens
9:30 a.m.: Vallejo
Postgame (approx. 2:30 p.m.): Black Pumas
This season, LCL sees the addition of the Deep Eddy Lounge, a brand new cocktail garden featuring unique Texas-themed drinks for fans 21+. Fans can also enjoy happy hour pricing* at Longhorn City Limits including $5 16-oz. domestic beers, $6 16-oz. premium beers and $5 wine spritzers. Stubb's Bar-B-Q will have multiple setups around the LBJ Lawn as well. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to get photos with the new Longhorn City Limits oversized guitar monument and exclusive LCL merchandise at the Team Shop located at the LBJ Lawn.
