No. 8 Women Swimming & Diving tops Louisville and Indiana

Texas goes 2-0 with wins over Indiana and Louisville in LCM races.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 8 Texas Women's Swimming and Diving team went 2-0 on Friday afternoon in the long course meter double-dual with Indiana and Louisville.
Texas topped Louisville, 177-107, and bested Indiana, 146-134.
NOTES
Texas took home both relays. They opened things up with the 200 Medley Relay. The grouping of Claire Adams, Evie Pfeifer, Kelly Pash and Bridget Semenuk put together a time of 1:55.05. The Longhorns closed out the meet with a 3:46.89 time in the 400 Free Relay with Pash, Semenuk, Julia Cook and Adams.
In the 200 Free, Texas took second, third and fifth as Bridget Semenuk (2:02.02), Evie Pfeifer (2:02.66) and Logan Shiller (2:04.75) touched the wall.
Claire Adams and Julia Cook went 1-2 in the 100 Back with times of 1:03.46 and 1:04.70, respectively.
Kelly Pash picked up a win in the 200 Fly with a 2:11.61 time. Lauren Case came in third with a 2:16.94 finish. Pash added a second win with a 59.74 in the 100 Fly, and Case came in second at 1:01.68.
In the 1-meter diving competition, Texas went 1-2-3, with Paola Pineda (305.65) taking first, Jordan Skilken (288.80) coming in second, and Morgan Menniger (286.45) finishing in third.
Bridget Semenuk won the 100 Free with a time of 56.08, also a new Olympic Trial Qualifying time, while Claire Adams took third with a time of 57.35.
Evie Pfeifer won the 200 IM with a 2:15.76, and added a second-place finish with a time of 4:16.89 in the 400 Free.
Saturday's start time is set for 9 a.m. and the three teams with compete again in short course yards.
