Women’s Tennis signs Lexi Ryngler to National Letter of Intent

Texas staff inks Ryngler for the 2019-20 season.
AUSTIN, Texas — Lexi Ryngler (Calabasas, Calif.) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play tennis next season at The University of Texas, head coach Howard Joffe announced Monday. Ryngler will join the Longhorns as a freshman for the 2019-20 season.
"Lexi's inclusion on our team makes Texas Tennis significantly better on day one," Joffe said. "I am so grateful to Lexi and her parents, Avi and Jodi, as well as the Zinn family for the confidence and trust they have given me and The University of Texas. We can't wait to have Lexi on the Forty Acres and give her our best effort."
Ryngler has a career-high Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles ranking of No. 748 and a current WTA doubles ranking of No. 1273.
