Jody Conradt to be honored by The First Tee of Greater Austin

Conradt will be recognized at the 11th-annual 9 Core Values Luncheon on Monday, March 25.
Jody Conradt, who led Texas to 783 wins as head women's basketball coach from 1976-2007, will be honored by The First Tee of Greater Austin at its 11th-annual 9 Core Values Luncheon on Monday, March 25.
The event recognizes individuals in the Austin community who exemplify the core values that The First Tee aims to instill in each student. Conradt will be honored for the core value of Sportsmanship.
Past recipients of the honor include current Texas men's swimming and diving head coach Eddie Reese, former Texas women's golf coach Pat Weis and longtime Texas supporter Marian Dozier.
Conradt, a four-time National Coach of the Year, led the Longhorns to the 1986 NCAA Championship and three NCAA Final Four appearances. She is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. Conradt serves as a special assistant for Texas Athletics.
The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Austin on Monday, March 25.
