The No. 23 and seventh-seeded Texas women's basketball team begins its NCAA Tournament quest on Friday when it travels to Eugene, Ore., to face 10th-seeded Indiana. Tip-off in Matthew Knight Arena is slated for 6 p.m. CT and the game will be nationally televised by ESPN2.
The Series with Indiana: Texas and Indiana meet for the second time in the history of the two programs with the Longhorns leading the all-time series 1-0. The two teams last met December 3, 1982, an 86-79 win for Texas at the Nebraska Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.
