Three from Women's Golf named to ANNIKA Award Watch List

The ANNIKA Award is the highest honor in collegiate women's golf.
A nation-leading three Texas women's golfers have been named to the Preseason Watch List for the ANNIKA Award, the highest honor in collegiate women's golf, it was announced Friday.
Texas, Duke, USC and Stanford all placed three golfers on the 25-person preseason watch list.
The Longhorns named to the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List include sophomore Hailee Cooper, junior Agathe Laisne and junior Kaitlyn Papp. Each of the three was named a WGCA First-Team All-American in 2019 and placed in the top-10 individually at the 2019 NCAA Championship.
Texas opens its 2019-20 season Sept. 16-18 when it travels to Lake Elmo, Minn., to participate in the prestigious ANNIKA Intercollegiate.
