New 'fan first pricing' items highlight 2019 concessions enhancements

Twelve new items added to 'fan first menu' for the 2019 Football season.

Following the popularity of the new fan first pricing menu at Texas Football last season, Longhorns fans will enjoy additional reduced concessions prices in 2019 at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The 2018 menu featured lower prices on 10 total items, while the 2019 offering expands to include 22 of the most popular gameday concessions items at an average discount of 30%.
"We understand the financial commitment our fans make to spend a gameday weekend with us, so we are excited to add items to our fan first menu," Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris Del Conte said. "We have also expanded the number of food trucks at Bevo Blvd. and Smokey's Midway to satisfy all of our Austin foodies and continue to provide the best experience at DKR that Longhorns fans expect."
The new pricing allows a family of four to purchase a typical gameday meal for $28 or less.

Prior to entering the stadium, fans can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options at Bevo Blvd. presented by H-E-B, Smokey's Midway and Longhorn City Limits presented by ATX Web Designs. Enhancements include:
- An increase in Austin's favorite food trucks to service Bevo Blvd. and Smokey's Midway;
- The addition of a Texas-themed beer barge with local craft beers on tap and a mobile margarita van;
- Additional bars in all three areas including the brand new Deep Eddy Lounge at Longhorn City Limits;
- An additional Stubb's Bar-B-Q location at Longhorn City Limits featuring a burnt orange smoker with a BBQ tutorial experience; and,
- Fair-themed food items on Smokey's Midway including fine "stick foods" from Fletch; Longhorns-themed ice cream sandwiches from Amy's Ice Cream; cotton candy on a lighted stick; and specialty food offerings themed toward visiting teams.
Fans can still enjoy pregame happy hour pricing at Bevo Blvd., Smokey's Midway and Longhorn City Limits including $5 16-oz. domestic beers, $6 16-oz. premium beers and $5 wine spritzers.
