Aug. 31 vs. Louisiana Tech: Jack Ingram with Jane Ellen Bryant
Country star and Texas native Jack Ingram headlines LCL prior to the season opener vs. Louisiana Tech on Aug. 31. Over 25+ years, Ingram has built a reputation for personally-charged songwriting and charismatic performances. As an icon of the Texas Country genre, Ingram has a fiercely devoted fan base, prestigious critical acclaim and a resume that boasts commercial success via radio hits and awards. His 10th studio album, "Ridin' High…Again," was released in April 2019.
Ingram is joined by Austin singer-songwriter Jane Ellen Bryant. Bryant, a two-time winner of the Austin Music Awards for "Best New Band" and "Best Female Vocalist," is known for her unique sound described as "heartbreaking rock 'n' roll." Her latest EP, "Let Me Be Lost," sees Bryant explore a variety of sounds and styles that has earned her a spot on the 2019 ACL Festival lineup.
Following the Texas-Louisiana Tech game, fans can return to Longhorn City Limits for a special postgame concert by Texas' only award-winning mashup band More Cowbell. Their fan-favorite shows combine two or more songs into seamlessly-blended compositions that leave audiences laughing and dancing at the same time and have earned the band three Austin Music Awards.
Sept. 7 vs. LSU: Midland with Rob Baird
Hailing from Dripping Springs, Midland has been shaking up the country music scene since their formation in 2013 and headlines the second game vs. LSU. Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson's 2017 debut album "On the Rocks" was declared "the year's best country album" by the Washington Post. It earned numerous accolades for the band including New Vocal Group of the Year Award at the 2018 ACM Awards and Grammy nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Their latest single, "Mr. Lonely," is the first single off their highly anticipated second album.
Supporting Midland is Americana artist and singer-songwriter Rob Baird. After relocating to Austin, Baird has been a constant touring force playing alongside acts such as Jason Isbell, Billy Joe Shaver, Don Williams and The Steeldrivers. "Fade Away," "Dreams and Gasolines," "More Than Willing," and "Mississippi Moon" are among the fan favorites from his first three albums. Baird, who released his highly-anticipated fourth album "After All" in January 2019, drew inspiration from Lucinda Williams and James McMurtry on his latest project.
The fan-favorite silent disco returns to Longhorn City Limits following the Texas-LSU game. Featuring three live DJs, participating fans receive a pair of wireless headphones to wear and the ability to choose between three different channels.
Sept. 21 vs. Oklahoma State: Gin Blossoms with Drew Fish Band
