No. 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving takes down Arizona

Longhorns wrap up Arizona road trip with victory, 184.5-115.50.
Phoenix, Ariz. – The No. 1 Texas men's swimming and diving program took down Arizona on Saturday afternoon, 184.5-115.50, at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.
MEET NOTES
- Grayson Campbell and Jordan Windle went 1-2 in the 1-meter competition on Saturday. Campbell won the event with a score of 355.65, while Windle followed with a score of 355.50.
- Windle took home a win in the 3 – meter competition with a 443.78 event score.
- The combination of Chris Staka, Caspar Corbeau, Maxime Rooney and Daniel Krueger took home the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:26.97.
- Drew Kibler claimed the 200 free victory by hitting the way at 1:37.02.
- Alvin Jiang, Staka, and Austin Katz went 1-2-3 in the 100 backstroke. Jiang secured the win by hitting the wall at 47.05. Staka followed at 47.18, and Katz took third with a time of 48.54.
- Jiang added a second win on the day with the 100 fly title. He touched at 47.90. Sam Pomajevich followed at 48.24. Staka came in third with a time of 48.40.
- Rooney added an individual win to his day in the 50 free. He touched in 19.96.
- Texas went 1-4 in the 200 back. Katz took home the title with a time of 1:44.59, while Josh Artmann came in second with a time of 1:48.21. Ethan Harder came in third after touching at 1:48.69, while Preston Varozza followed at 1:49.78.
- Jake Foster took home the 400 IM title for the Longhorns with a time of 3:51.62, six seconds faster than the second place finisher.
