Former Texas women's basketball players Lashann Higgs, Joyner Holmes and Sug Sutton all look to realize their dreams of playing professional basketball when the three-round, 36-pick draft takes place on Friday.
Ten players in program history have been selected in the WNBA Draft, including five first-round picks. The most recent Texas player drafted was Ariel Atkins, who was selected by Washington with the seventh pick in the 2018 draft.
