Longhorns Ready for NCAA Cross Country Championships

AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 13 men's cross country program and Beth Ramos of the women's cross country team are set to compete at the 2021 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla.
After defending their 2019 NCAA South Central Regional title, the men's team take on its second-straight 10K of the season scheduled for 11:10 a.m. ET. Haftu Knight, the regional champion, will lead the Longhorns on Saturday in their second meet in the Sunshine State.
Knight will be joined by Yaseen Abdalla, Cruz Gomez, Rodger Rivera, Cole Lindhorst, Crayton Carrozza and Abraham Avila-Martinez.
Ramos is the lone Longhorn to represent the women's team in the 6K schedule for an 10:20 a.m., ET start time. Ramos has been Texas' top performer all season and registered a seventh-place finish and USTFCCCA All-Region team honors for the feat.
Saturday's meet will be streamed live on ESPNU and the ESPN app at 10 a.m. ET.
