No. 5 Women's Swim Close Competition at No. 1 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 5 women's swimming and diving program put on an impressive show against No. 1 Virginia on the road, but fell 201-152.
The Longhorns produced numerous season best performances against the defending national champions in the final day of the two-day dual meet event.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• The Longhorns recorded the fourth-fastest 400 medley relay time of the season from Olivia Bray, Anna Elendt, Kelly Pash and Bridget Semenuk with a time of 3:32.82 to start the day. The time was good for a second-place finish.
• Texas finished second and third in the 500 free from Evie Pfeifer at 4:47.82 and Erica Sullivan in 4:48.49.
• Bray finished second in the 200 back with her time of 1:55.26, her second second-place finish in backstroke events.
• Texas took second through fourth in the 100 free led by Semenuk (49.69), Grace Cooper (50.05) and Kyla Leibel (50.05).
• Pash had a remarkable race in the 200 IM, leading majority of the race to finish second with the NCAA's fifth-fastest time at 1:57.46.
• Longhorns concluded the day with the No. 6 time in the nation in the 200 free relay at 1:30.08.
