No. 1 Volleyball’s Eggleston named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

Junior Logan Eggleston recognized after helping lead the Longhorns to a pair of ranked wins.
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 1 Texas Volleyball's Logan Eggleston has been named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Eggleston helped lead Texas to a pair of wins over nationally ranked teams last week, knocking off No. 10 Minnesota on the road and sweeping No. 20 Stanford at home. The Brentwood, Tenn., native led the Longhorns with 30 total kills (4.29 kills per set) and finished with 17 digs, six blocks and one service ace.
Against Minnesota, Eggleston had season highs with 17 kills, 12 digs and five blocks in the four-set win. In the straight sweep of Stanford she hit a season high .500, while leading the team with 13 kills.
Texas remains at home for its next three matches, hosting Texas State on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before welcoming Arizona and Notre Dame to Gregory Gym for the weekend.
