Football climbs to No. 20 in AP Top 25

The Longhorns moved up two spots following a win over Iowa State.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Football moved up two spots to No. 20 in the Associated Press Top 25 following its 24-21 victory over Iowa State on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The Longhorns also checked in at No. 21 on the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
The Longhorns (5-2, 3-1) defeated the Cyclones, clinching the victory on an senior DB Anthony Cook forced fumble at the Texas 28-yard line was recovered by junior LB Jaylan Ford to secure the victory with just over two minutes remaining in the game.
