No. 19/5 Women’s Basketball wins Battle 4 Atlantis finale

Four players score in double-figures for the Longhorns.
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas — No. 19/5 Texas women's basketball outscored Rutgers 29-7 in the fourth quarter on the way to an 82-44 win on Monday in their final game of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.
Freshman Amina Muhammad scored a game-high 14 points and five rebounds and Aaliyah Moore, Sonya Morris and Shay Holle scored 13 points apiece for the Longhorns.
Texas (2-3) limited Rutgers (3-4) to 16-of-53 (30.2 percent) shooting from the field and 24 second half points. Texas outscored Rutgers 50-24 in the second half.
Up next Texas will host Princeton on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 1:00 p.m. CT.
Game Notes
• The Longhorns opened the second quarter with an 8-0 run to take a 21-9 lead.
• Shay Holle scored a career-high 13 points.
• Aaliyah Moore scored 11 of her 13 points in the second half, including nine points in the third quarter.
• Aaliyah Moore averaged 15.3 points and seven rebounds per game over the three games of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.
• Moore took three charges in the game against Rutgers and took a total of seven charges over the last two games.
• The Longhorns dished out a season-high 23 assists on 30 field goals.
• Texas shot 30-of-61 (49.2 percent) from the field.
• Texas held a 44-22 advantage in points in the paint.
• The Longhorns got excellent production from their bench with 39 points from their reserve players.
• After 11 first half turnovers the Longhorns turned the ball over four times in the second half.
