Volleyball tops 2022 Big 12 Preseason Poll

The Longhorns are the preseason pick to win the conference for the 12th consecutive year.
AUSTIN, Texas – For the 15th time in program history and the 12th consecutive year, Texas Volleyball has been voted the favorite in the Big 12 for the upcoming season. The preseason poll is determined by league head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own team.
Since 2011, Texas has lost a total of nine conference matches for a record of 167-9 (.949), which included three perfect records of 16-0 (2013, 2017 and 2020).
The Longhorns won their fifth-straight Big 12 Championship in 2021 and advanced to the NCAA Regional Final forth 15th time in the last 16 seasons.
