Kickoff time set for Football vs. Oklahoma

The Longhorns and Sooners will square off in the 2022 AT&T Red River Showdown on Oct. 8 at 11:00 a.m. CT on ABC.
AUSTIN, Texas – Kickoff for Texas Football's Oct. 8 matchup against No. 18/16 Oklahoma is set for 11:00 a.m. CT, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday. The game will air on ABC from inside the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
It will be the 118th meeting between the rivals, with Texas holding an all-time series lead of 62-50-5. The series began in 1900 and has been played in Dallas since 1912 and at the State Fair since 1929. Saturday game will mark the 95th time the game has been played at a neutral site in Dallas.
Last year, the Longhorns fell to the Sooners, 55-48.
