Hernandez leads No. 2 Women's Swim and Dive on 3-meter

Hailey Hernandez posts second-best score of the season.
AUSTIN, Texas – Hailey Hernandez of the No. 2 women's swim and dive team led from start to finish on the 3-meter springboard on Day 1 of the Texas Diving Invitational.
After scoring the most points in the prelims with 377.15, Hernandez led the Longhorns to take the top-five positions in the field of 14. Hernandez ended the finals with 382.65 points, her second-best total of the season.
Close behind was senior Bridget O'Neil who was second with 358.45 points, also registering her second-best score of the season. Freshman Caroline Kupka rounded out the top-three performers with her season-best score of 346.65 points.
Sophomore Sarah Carruthers just edged out teammate Amanda Stalfort with 319.60 to 319.25 to round out the Texas performers.
The Longhorns will return to the meet on the 1-meter at 11 a.m. for the prelims and 5 p.m. for the finals.
