• IT'S BEEN A WHILE: Texas is making its first appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16 since 2008 when UT advanced to the Elite Eight. The 28 wins this year are tied for the third-most wins in a single season in program history and most since 2010-11 (28-8).
• DEFENSE TRAVELS: Texas has limited its five postseason opponents to an average of 58.0 ppg on a combined 38.0-percent FG shooting (109-287), including a 26.0-percent (26-100) mark from three-point range. UT has allowed just 39 assists while forcing 69 turnovers in those five contests.
• DISU IS DANCING: Senior F Dylan Disu averaged a team-best 22.5 ppg and 10.0 rpg in 26.3 mpg while hitting 71.0-percent (22-31) from the floor in UT's first two NCAA Tournament contests last week. He had a season-high 28 points and 10 boards in 31 minutes during the Second Round win against Penn State, setting a UT NCAA Tournament single-game record for most field goals made (14-20).
