• LOOKING TO GET TO HOUSTON: With a win on Sunday, the Longhorns would advance to the NCAA Final Four for the first time since 2003 and fourth time in program history. Texas made previous trips in 1943, 1947 and 2003.
• BALANCED AND EFFICIENT: Texas has converted at least 50-percent from the floor in each of its first three NCAA Tournament contests. Five Longhorns reached double figures in scoring on Friday against No. 13/14 Xavier. During the NCAA tourney, six UT players are averaging at least 8.0 ppg and the Longhorns have registered a 46-to-27 assist-to-turnover ratio.
• BISHOP BREAKS OUT IN HOMECOMING: Super senior F Christian Bishop, a native of Lee's Summit, Mo. (suburb of Kansas City), recorded a season-best 18 points (one shy of his collegiate career high) while converting 8-of-12 field goals and added a team-high nine rebounds in 24 minutes against Xavier.
