Women’s Tennis tabbed No. 7 in final ITA national team rankings

The Longhorns have finished each of the last six years in the Top 10 of the final ITA poll.
AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Women's Tennis team is No. 7 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings of the 2023 season released Wednesday morning. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the Longhorns have placed in the top 10 of the final ITA national poll.
Texas earned a No. 6 ranking in 2018, No. 9 in 2019 and No. 4 in 2020. The Longhorns were tabbed No. 1 in both 2021 and 2022 when they claimed back-to-back NCAA team championships.
Texas concluded the 2022-23 season with a 24-5 overall record. The Longhorns claimed the Big 12 regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight for the third consecutive year.
