Women’s Basketball announces 2023-24 non-conference schedule

The 13-game non-conference schedule is highlighted by a Dec. 3 game against UConn at Moody Center.
AUSTIN, Texas — Eight non-conference home games, three games at the Paradise Jam and road contests at Arizona and UTRGV highlight the 2023-24 University of Texas women's basketball non-conference schedule released Tuesday.
The Big 12 Conference schedule has not been finalized at this time, although the league previously announced opponents along with home and away designations for the upcoming conference slate. Tipoff times and the complete television schedule for the 2023-24 season will be announced when available.
The Longhorns open the regular season by hosting Southern University in Moody Center on Wednesday Nov. 8. Texas will follow with home contests against Liberty (Sunday, Nov. 12), UT-Arlington (Tuesday, Nov. 14) and Louisiana Tech (Sunday Nov. 19).
UT will participate in the Paradise Jam tournament in the U.S. Virgin Islands Nov. 23-25 where they will take on Arizona State, High Point and South Florida.
Texas will return to Austin for their 40 Acres Field Trip game on Wednesday, Nov. 29 against Oral Roberts, where they will welcome 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th graders in Central Texas for exposure to collegiate athletics.
All eyes will be on Austin on Sunday, Dec. 3 as the Longhorns welcome the UConn Huskies.
Texas will host Long Beach State on Wednesday, Dec. 6 before making road trips to Arizona (Wednesday, Dec. 13) and at UTRGV (Wednesday, Dec. 20). The Longhorns will conclude the non-conference schedule at home against Jackson State on Wednesday Dec. 27.
