Howell & Jess of No. 11 Track and Field break into Texas all-time list

Eva Jess sets 20-second personal best in the 5,000m in Boston.
BOSTON, Mass. – Olivia Howell and Eva Jess of the No. 11 Texas women's track and field team made their way onto the Texas All-Time Performer list on the final day of the John Thomas Terrier Collegiate Classic on Saturday.
Howell began the day running the eighth-fastest 800-meter run of the day with a time of 2:04.61. The time moved her to No. 5 on the Texas All-Time performer list with the 11th-fastest performance in school history. Junior Amity Ebarb later finished in 2:11.97, followed by Mackenize Browne in 2:13.56 and Imutiyan Ogbiede in 2:16.03.
Jess later ran a 20-second personal-best in the indoor 5,000-meter run with her time of 16:15.67 to finish 12th overall. The time put Jess at No. 6 on the All-Time Performer List and No. 14 on the All-Time Performance list.
Elizabeth Pickkett also ran a personal best in the 3,000-meter with her time of 9:44.51, while Haley Harper finished in 10:01.03. Katarzyna Kwiatkowski was the lone Longhorn to run the mile and finished in 4:57.18.
