Rowing signs 15 on National Signing Day

The reigning NCAA National Champions add 15 signees to their 2025 recruiting class.
AUSTIN, Texas – Head coach Dave O'Neill and the 2024 NCAA Champion Texas Rowing program announced the signing of 15 new Longhorns on National Signing Day. The decorated class includes Maisy Ballantyne, Annika Bliven, Olivia Branch, Lulu Burney, Leila Gaston, Erin Kirby, Reese McGeary, Elizabeth Najjar, Giulia Orefice, Lizzy Reid, Lila Resnick, Addy Smith, Claire Uiterwyk, Nike Utesch and Maddie Wilson.
The recruiting class features student-athletes from seven different states within the U.S. (California, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas) and five different countries (United States, Australia, Canada, Germany and Italy).
"We have another impressive recruiting class heading our way next year, and no doubt they'll have a terrific impact for years to come. They come from all over the world, and they have already done some impressive things in our sport," said head coach Dave O'Neill. "Of course, their development and consistent improvement is what matters most, and I look forward to working with them here at Texas. I credit our recruiting coordinator, Nick Baker, and our entire staff for their tireless efforts in building these relationships and showcasing our program. We truly have something special here, and it's great to see top athletes in the world ready to join our team."
