Cranford leads Women's Diving on 3-meter at UT Diving Invitational

Longhorns send six to 3-meter finals on Friday.
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas women's dive team sent six to the 3-meter final on the opening night of the UT Diving Invitational.
From the field of 41 competitors, six Longhorns earned a spot in the top-12 finishers to reach the finals.
Sophomore Bayleigh Cranford was the top finisher for UT finishing second overall with a score of 322.40 points. She was 28 points behind Mia Vallee of Miami in first.
Senior Hailey Hernandez was third with her score of 306.00 points. Sophomore Sarah Carruthers was sixth with 301.95 points. Caroline Kupka (299.25), Amanda Stalfort (293.70) and Taylor Fox (280.85) took the 9-11 spots to close out the first night.
The women return to action for the 1-meter competition Saturday morning.
