Women's Diving closes out UT Diving Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas women's dive team closed out the final two events of the UT Diving Invitational on Sunday.
Overall, the women's team won the championship team award scoring 150 points in front the University of Utah with 80 points. Both the men and women combined to score 301 points to win the overall championships over Texas A&M with 137 and Stanford with 128.
Senior Hailey Hernandez was the top finisher for Texas on 1-meter with her score of 309.90 points. She was just 3.10 points back from Anna Kwong of TCU.
Sophomore Bayleigh Cranford finished eighth with her score of 275.65 with fellow sophomore Caroline Kupka just behind with 274.35.
Freshman Taylor Fox rounded out the top-12 finishers with her score of 241.55 points.
Fox later led the Longhorns on platform with her score of 282.05 points. It's the first time in her collegiate career she competed on platform.
Junior Sarah Carruthers was fifth with her total of 264.30 points. Cranford added a seventh-place finish with a score of 259.65 points and Morgan Robson was 18th with 199.75.
