A Robert Smith step-back jumper trimmed the margin to 10-6 with 16:35 left, before the Longhorns went on a 15-0 run over the next five-plus minutes to build a 25-6 cushion after a Mark three-pointer at the 11:08 mark.

The Hornets cut the lead to 18 points on three occasions in the final five minutes, but that was as close as they could get the rest of the way.
