No. 2 Women's Swim & Dive's Cox and Enge earn SEC weekly honors

Jillian Cox earns second SEC weekly award.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jillian Cox and Piper Enge were awarded Southeastern Conference weekly awards on Tuesday, the league announced on Tuesday.
Jillian Cox was awarded her second SEC weekly award of her career after being named the SEC women's swimmer of the week. Cox swept the distance free events in 123-63 win against No. 6 Indiana.
Cox began the morning with a 1000-free victory with her time of 9:29.66. She proceeded to complete the sweep with her NCAA-A cut time of 4:34.41 in the 500 free. The time also broke Evie Pfeifer's school record of 4:35.02 set in 2021. Both times rank as the fastest in the nation this season. Cox now owns both the 500 and 1000 free program records after three meets this season.
It's the second time this season Cox has earned a conference award. She previously was named SEC Freshman of the Week Oct. 15 after the win against LSU.
Piper Enge was awarded the SEC Freshman of the Week award after sweeping both breaststroke events against Indiana. Enge took first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:09.27 and won the 100 in 59.26.
Enge was later the second leg of the winning 400 medley relay that combined to swim 3:27.98 and closed the competition on the winning 200 medley relay that finished in 1:34.72.
The Longhorns return to the pool on Nov. 20 to host the Texas Invitational in a three-day meet.
