Women’s Tennis preview: ITA Central Sectionals/Conference Masters

Three Longhorns will compete across the two tournaments for an opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships.
Ann Arbor, Mich./Rome, Ga. – Texas Women's Tennis will have three competing across the ITA Central Sectional Championships and ITA Conference Masters Championships on Thursday.
Senior No. 96 Vivian Ovrootsky and sophomore Shachf Lieberman will be in Ann Arbor, Mich., for the ITA Central Sectionals with Ovrootsky playing No. 109 Santa Strombacha of Houston in singles, and the No. 75 duo of Ovrootsky and Lieberman facing the 3 seed of Luciana Perry and Audrey Spencer of Ohio State.

Freshman Carmen Herea will then be in Rome, Ga., for the Conference Masters and will take on Emily Tannenbaum of at 10:30 a.m. CT.

The 2024 ITA Conference Masters Championship will have a draw size of 32 singles players with the four semifinalists for the NCAA Singles Championship.
