96th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist announces multis entries

NCAA top-finishers among competitors for Texas Relays multi competitors.
AUSTIN, Texas – Meet director Andrew Klingsporn has announced the accepted entries of the University/Collegiate heptathlon and decathlon athletes for the 96th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by Truist.
The multi events are scheduled for competition from Wednesday, March 27 through March 30th and Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The men's decathlon will be highlighted by defending NCAA decathlon champion and back-to-back Texas Relays decathlon Champion Leo Neugebauer of Texas. Neugebauer scored the Texas Relays record of 8,478 points last season. Neugebauer will be joined by four other top-20 finishers from the NCAA Outdoor Championship meet in Ben Barton (BYU), Grant Levesque (Houston), Oliver Thorner (Florida) and Joel McFarlane (TCU).
On the women's side, Kristine Blazevica of Texas and Jenelle Rogers lead the competition as the only competitors to have competed at the NCAA meet last season. Blazezvica enters the meet finishing second at the 2023 Texas Relays and third at the NCAA meet, while Rogers of Ball State finished fifth at NCAAs. Rogers and Blazevica also finished second and third respectively at the NCAA Indoor meet this season in the pentathlon. Charity Hufnagel of Kentucky and Lydia Bottelier of Pittsburgh will also be in the mix after finishing in the top-13 of this year's NCAA indoor meet.
Florida's Anna Hall holds the Texas Relays record in the heptathlon with her score of 6,412 points recorded in 2022.
