Olivia Howell cracks school's all-ime 1500m list.
AZUSA, CA – The No. 10/10 track and field program finished the final day of the Bryan Clay Invitational in the 1500-meter and 5000-meter events.
Olivia Howell finished 49th in the women's 1500-meter invite with her time of 4:16.90, matching the time as the No. 6 performer in UT history and the sixth-fastest time in school history. In the men's invite, Cole Lindhorst ran his second personal best of the weekend, finishing with a time of 3:43.48.
Back in the open 5,000m, Logan Patete ran his own personal best with a time of 3:52.25. Chris Riley ran his first collegiate 1500m race and finished in 3:53.87, while Evan MacGregor finished in 3:55.37.
Freshman Mackenize Browne finished fourth in the women's 1,500-meter B race with her time of 4:31.84 in her first collegiate 1500m race. Natasja Beijen was 64th with her time of 4:38.64.
Freshman Haley Harper was the lone Longhorn to compete in the 5,000-meter and finished in 17:31.48 for a 27-second personal best.
