SEC announces opponents and locations for 2024-25 Women’s Basketball schedule

Texas will host South Carolina, LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Vanderbilt in Moody Center in its first season in the league.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Southeastern Conference announced each school's conference opponents in addition to home and away designations for games on its 2024-25 Women's Basketball schedule, the first season in which The University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma will participate in SEC competition.
For Texas, home contests in the third year of Moody Center will feature South Carolina, LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Vanderbilt. The Longhorns will travel to South Carolina, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. Dates, times and television information will be revealed at a later date.
The schedule consists of a single round robin of home or away (14 games) with one rotating opponent that will be played at home and away (2 games). Each team will play eight home games and eight away games. The rotating opponent changes annually. This marks the 15th season of the 16-game schedule for women's basketball. South Carolina, the 2022 and 2024 national champions are the team the Longhorns will play both home and away in the 2024-25 season.
Conference play tips off on Thursday, Jan 2. The SEC Tournament will be played at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C., on March 5-9, 2025.
The Longhorns have won the regular season or conference tournament in the Big 12 in each of the last three seasons and have advanced to the Elite Eight in three of the last four seasons. Texas won 33 games in the 2023-24 season, their fifth most in program history and most since the 1985-86 season.
New season ticket holders can purchase season tickets for the 2024-25 season here. Season tickets are priced at $100 for an anticipated 17+ home game schedule.
