March’s Hook ‘Em’s Community Heroes: featuring Kylie Wickley, Beach Volleyball, and Lanie Nitsch, Rowing
AUSTIN, Texas – Together with Truist, congratulations to April's Hook 'Em's Community Heroes: from Beach Volleyball, Kylie Wickley, and from Rowing, Lanie Nitsch.
Kylie, as a leader and proponent of women's sports, recognizes her role and the impact it will have on future female athletes.
"Women's sports are becoming one of the most important topics in sport as we know it. Now is the time to help it grow by creating supportive environments, equal opportunities, and empowering leaders. As leaders of our community, it's important for us to mentor and advocate for the women of tomorrow."
Lanie supports people with Down syndrome in her community and is proud to be able to provide support for other communities as well.
"I believe in the power that comes with expanding opportunities for people with Down syndrome throughout our community."
In recognition of their causes, Truist is proud to donate $500 each to organizations that provide support for female athlete empowerment and down syndrome care.
