Women’s Basketball to play in Gulf Coast Showcase

Eight-Team field set to compete Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida.
AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Women's Basketball team will compete in the 2024 Gulf Coast Showcase at Hertz Arena in Estero, Fla., Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
The field includes: Boise State, Illinois State, West Virginia, High Point, Butler, Santa Clara, New Mexico State and Texas.
Seven of the eight teams competing in the event advanced to postseason play a year ago, led by Texas, who reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament and West Virginia, who advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Longhorns will open play against New Mexico State on Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
All games will be streamed live on FloHoops.
