Women’s Basketball signee Aaliyah Crump named McDonald’s All-American

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas women's basketball signee Aaliyah Crump has been selected among the top 24 players in the country for the prestigious 2025 McDonald's All-American game. UT women's basketball now has 30 players that have been selected as McDonald's All-Americans.
Crump won gold with USA Basketball at the 2023 FIBA U16 Women's AmeriCup in León, Mexico and was recently invited to the USA Basketball Nike Hoops Summit. Crump was named to the 25-player Midseason Team for the 2024-25 Naismith Trophy Girl's High School Player of the Year award.
In her junior season Crump averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 3.3 assists in leading her high school, Minnetonka to the 2024 4A State Championship. Crump is a two-time All-State honoree, team captain and was selected the 2024 MaxPreps Minnesota Player of the Year. Crump was 12 points from becoming the all-time leading scorer at Minnetonka before she went to Montverde Academy.
This makes seven McDonald's All-America that Texas head coach Vic Schaefer has recruited to the Longhorns. Crump will become the 30th player in UT women's basketball program history to play in the McDonald's All-American Game.
The McDonald's All-American games will take place in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 1, where the top 24 high school girls and top 24 high school boys will square off at the Barclays Center, the home of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty.
