Women’s Golf trio accept invitations to 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur

Farah O’Keefe, Lauren Kim and Cindy Hsu will take part in the prestigious event.
AUSTIN, Texas — Farah O'Keefe, Lauren Kim and Cindy Hsu from Texas women's golf have accepted invitations to the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur, April 2-5 in Augusta, Ga.
O'Keefe and Kim played in the 2024 Augusta National Women's Amateur. Hsu will be making her first appearance.
Beginning the week prior to the 89th Masters Tournament, the international field will compete across 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut to 30 players and ties taking place after 36 holes. The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 3. The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday, April 4. The final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 5 and will feature the competitors who made the cut.
O'Keefe, who is currently ranked No. 13 in the World Amateur rankings, was named to the final fall watch list for the ANNIKA Award, which goes to the top female Division I collegiate golfer. O'Keefe recorded three top-three finishes in fall events this season. O'Keefe posted a 70.50 fall scoring average. At the Mason Rudolph Championship O'Keefe shot three rounds in the 60s and finished T3 at 11-under, to help the Longhorns win the tournament championship. O'Keefe followed that up with a T3 at the Stanford Intercollegiate and a T2 at the Nanea Invitational. In the final round of the Stanford Invitational, O'Keefe carded a 7-under 64 to tie the Longhorn record for lowest 18-hole round. O'Keefe earned SEC Women's Golfer of the Week following her performance at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
Lauren Kim is ranked No. 23 in the World Amateur rankings and posted a 70.92 fall scoring average. Kim finished in fifth place at the Folds of Honor Intercollegiate, T3 at the Mason Rudolph Invitational and T6 at the Nanea Invitational. Kim carded a collegiate best 66 in the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championship and shot a best of 205 for 54-holes at the tournament. That 205 ranked tied for fourth best in program history for 54 holes.
Cindy Hsu is ranked No. 31 in the World Amateur rankings and posted a 71.42 fall scoring average. Hsu finished T11 at the Folds of Honor Intercollegiate and T6 at the Nanea Invitational. She carded a career-best 54-hole score of 211 at the Mason Rudolph Championship and was part of the Asia Pacific Team title.
