No. 2 Women’s Swim and Dive closes out regular season at Sterkel Classic

The Longhorns capped the regular season Saturday with the Sterkel Classic.
AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 2 Texas Women's Swim and Dive team capped the regular season with the Sterkel Classic at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center Saturday.
The Longhorns competed against Rice, SMU and TCU in a swim-only meet.
Meet Notes
- Brooke Adams took third in the 200 free in 1:47.77.
- Olivia Bray won the 200 free in a season-best 1:46.75, meeting the NCAA 'B' cut qualifying standard.
- In the 100 back, Meghan DiMartile won with a final time of 53.95.
- Lindsey Hosch finished runner-up in the 100 breast, checking in at 1:01.12.
- Texas took the top three spots in the 50 free with Grace Cooper placing first (21.81) and matching her season-best time, Sienna Schellenger finishing in second and recording a season-best time (22.18) and Alexa Fulton finishing third in a season-best time (22.28).
- Olivia McMurray won the 400 IM in 4:17.39.
- The Horns swept the podium in the 200 back with Olivia Bray clinching first in 1:53.31 and Berit Berglund (second-1:55.01-season-best) and Meghan DiMartile (third-2:00.75) following suit. Berglund's time also met the NCAA 'B' cut standard.
- In the 200 breast, Texas clinched the top four spots. Abby Arens won in 2:11.00, Angie Coe recorded a runner-up finish in 2:11.71, Channing Hanley placed third in a season-best 2:13.14 and Lindsey Hosch came in fourth at 2:14.03. Hanley met the NCAA 'B' cut standard in the race.
- Texas swept the first two spots in the 100 fly. Ava Longi won in 52.58 and Grace Cooper finished runner-up with a time of 53.09.
- Campbell Stoll won the 200 IM in 1:57.22.
- UT swept the podium in the 100 free with Alexa Fulton (48.87) winning in a season-best time, Sienna Schellenger (49.12) finishing runner-up in a season-best time and Brooke Adams (50.55) placing third. Schellenger met the NCAA 'B' standard as well.
Up next, Texas travels to Athens, Ga., on Feb. 18-22 for the 2025 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships hosted at the University of Georgia.
