• IT'S BEEN A WHILE: Texas will play inside historic Memorial Gymnasium on Vanderbilt's campus for the first time since the 1988-89 season.
• JOHNSON DOING MORE THAN SCORING: Freshman G Tre Johnson, who currently leads the SEC in scoring (19.2 ppg), has recorded 16 assists against just four turnovers over the last four contests entering Saturday's game in Nashville. He has not committed more than one turnover in each of his last six contests.
• KALUMA SEES DOUBLE, AGAIN: Senior F Arthur Kaluma recorded his sixth double-double of the season (third in SEC play) with 12 points (6-6 FT) and a game-high 13 rebounds in 33 minutes during Wednesday's game against Arkansas. Kaluma leads the team in rebounding (8.2 rpg) and ranks second in scoring (13.5 ppg), steals (22), blocks (23) and minutes (29.8 mpg) this year.
